At Familia Solutions, we believe that strong families are the foundation of thriving communities. Through culturally responsive training, consulting, and resources, we help organizations better support Latino families and immigrant communities. By fostering meaningful connections, strengthening protective factors, and promoting the principles of the HOPE framework, we empower families to build resilience, nurture healthy relationships, and create brighter futures for the next generation.
The Story Behind Familia Solutions
Familia Solutions was founded in 2020 by two Latina immigrant women who recognized a growing gap between the needs of Latinx families and the resources available to support them. Many programs and services designed to help communities often lacked cultural relevance, leaving families without guidance that truly reflected their experiences, traditions, and values.
Led by Javiera Monardez, Familia Solutions brings together expertise in medicine, public health, community health promotion, adolescent development, positive parenting, nutrition, and sexual health education. Her leadership and commitment to culturally grounded care serve as the foundation of Familia’s mission.
